I was born and raised in the beautiful city of San Francisco, and live there today with my husband Kevin and abnormally fluffy cat, Teddy. I work 9-5 as a marketing writer at Salesforce, teach fitness classes at Burn Pilates, work out religiously, and whip up healthy recipes whenever I find time. And for fun? I’m a big fan of farmers markets, girls’ nights, museum visits, Bravo TV (no judgement), and anywhere that includes sunshine and Sauvignon Blanc.

Here’s the thing. Most fitness and nutrition blogs out there classify drinks, dessert and general merry-making as diet disasters. Which I totally get. But what if your social life revolves around happy hours and boozy brunches? Does that mean you should just give up, grab a box of Krispy Kremes and call it a day?
Not so fast. I think you really can have it all. I believe that fitness can be fun, healthy can be delicious, and bottomless mimosas can be part of a balanced diet. There truly is a place in life for everything you love. It’s just about learning the tips, tricks and tools to make that life a fit, healthy and happy one. And if that involves burpees in the morning and bellinis in the afternoon, well, so much the better.
